The Global Sourcing Association (GSA) has released its shortlist for the GSA UK’s fifth annual Professional Awards and we are delighted to report that Capita has been nominated in six different categories.

The prestigious GSA awards are the only awards solely dedicated to celebrating the talents of those working across the Sourcing industry. The Professional Awards exist to recognise the individuals, teams and companies who do their utmost to make Sourcing work. The shortlist spans a wide variety of functions and industry sectors, but all of those featured have one thing in common - a drive to achieve outstanding success through sourcing.

Capita has been listed in the following categories:

  • Award for Skills Development Programme of The Year
    Capita Life and Pensions
  • Excellence in Business Process Outsourcing
    Capita and Zurich
  • Excellence in Outsourced Customer Service

  • Excellence in Relationship Management

Kerry Hallard, CEO of the GSA UK, commented: “The ongoing availability of skills is increasingly becoming a chief concern for those operating in the sourcing sector in the UK and beyond, as our industry is disrupted by new technologies and innovations. That’s why the GSA’s Professional Awards exists – to celebrate sourcing’s most talented people, and encourage the continuing professionalization of the industry globally through showcasing sourcing best practice along with the Global Sourcing Standard.”

The winners will be announced at the GSA’s Professional Awards 2017 on Thursday 11th May 2017. This year the ceremony takes place at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester.
